According to reports, the Eunice Police Department responded to 1426 Amazon in reference to stolen tools.
The victim, Peter Miller, advised officers that he had just moved to the address and someone stole his tools.
The investigating officer then left the scene and verified that Miller was a registered sex offender and never reported his new address.
When officers went back to his residence they observed him driving and pulled him over.
Officers then discovered that his drivers license was also suspended.
Miller was then placed under arrest for driving under suspension, failure to secure registration, and failure to register his new address as a sex offender.
He was transported to Eunice PD and booked. He appeared before 27th Judicial District Judge Donald Hebert this morning and bond was set at $6,000.00. Miller bonded out shortly afterwards.
