Late yesterday evening (Wednesday, April 30th), Slidell Police arrested 53-year-old Wendell Troullier for allegedly molesting a 10-year-old boy.
On Sunday evening, Slidell Police received a call from a woman who told authorities her son was fondled by Troullier. The mother of the victim stated her son was playing at Troullier’s house, but returned home visibly upset. The young boy disclosed that while he was at Troullier’s house, Troullier began to touch him in his “private area” through the outside and inside of his shorts. After hearing the allegations, the young boy’s mother contacted Slidell Police. During the early stages of the investigation, it was discovered that Troullier was a paraeducator who worked at Bonne Ecole Elementary School. The Slidell Police Department immediately notified the St. Tammany Parish School Board of the alleged misconduct. The administrators at Bonne Ecole Elementary immediately removed Troullier from the school, where he is no longer an employee of the St. Tammany Parish Public School System. It is important to note that the behavior in question did not take place at the school, nor did it involve a Bonne Ecole student. Troullier was charged with Molestation of a Juvenile, and was booked at the Slidell City Jail, where he has since been transferred to the St. Tammany Parish Jail. The investigation is still ongoing, and Slidell Police are not ruling out the possibility that there may be other victims. Anyone who may have had inappropriate contact with Troullier is asked to contact Sergeant Jim Davis at 985-646-4347 or email@example.com
