Busted In Acadiana

On March 21, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a 14-year-old girl who ran away from home.

According to authorities, CPSO detectives discovered Steven P. Maddox, 18, of Sulphur, allegedly picked the juvenile up from her home and brought her to his home. Maddox allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with the girl.

Maddox was arrested and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile; and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

He was released on a $15,000 bond.
