Busted In Acadiana

A Lafayette man was arrested in connection with the deadly crash that occurred earlier this morning.

Twenty-six-year old Casey Robertson’s truck collided with a car and killed the driver at the intersection of East Kaliste Saloom Rd. and SW Evangeline Thruway.

The victim is a 61-year-old Alabama man and police have not identified him pending notification of his family.

Robertson was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center with vehicular homicide, OWI, driving under suspension, and disobeying a red signal light.

His bond was set at $25,750….
