Busted In Acadiana

Shreveport police have arrested a man after he was reportedly caught stealing flowers from a local grocery store.

Robert Allen, 23, of the 6400 block of Diane Street was arrested Friday. Police say on March 8, he was caught on surveillance at Brookshires on Mansfield Road walking out of the store with $250 worth of flowers that he did not pay for.

Allen was arrested on a charge of theft and booked into the Shreveport City Jail and transferred to Caddo Correctional Center.
