Busted In Acadiana

A Lafayette man has been accused of inappropriate sexual relations with a juvenile family member.

Police say, on March 15, 2013 they received a complaint concerning an incident involving inappropriate behavior with a juvenile that occurred within the City of Lafayette.

As a result of the investigation, investigators with the Lafayette Police Department’s Youth Services Section arrested Joseph Rideaux, Jr. (45) of Lafayette on an arrest warrant for Aggravated Incest.

Rideaux was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center where he is being held on a $100,000 bond. 

If convicted, Rideaux could face up to 99-years in prison depending on the family member’s age.
