Busted In Acadiana

.The wife of Lafayette City Parish Councilman Keith Patin died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound last night at her home according to KPEL. 

According to KATC, the The Lafayette City Police Department is investigating it as an “unattended death” incident and does not suspect foul play.

Keith Palamo, chief death investigator with the Lafayette Parish Coroner’s Office, told the statiion that an investigation of Patin’s death was ongoing.

Lou King Patin leaves behind her husband and their son, Hunter, along with a whole host of family and friends.

Miss Lou ran King Patin, a staffing agency, for years helping people from all over the community secure jobs.

Funeral arrangements and other information are pending at this time.
