Fatal crash claims the life of a Duson man

Lafayette, LA- Last night at approximately 11 p.m. Lafayette Police responded to a single vehicle crash in the 3200 block of Cameron Street. According to investigators, a Chevrolet pickup was traveling west on Cameron Street when for unknown reasons left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The driver of the vehicle, 54-year-old Wilton John Hamilton of Duson, died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
