Busted In Acadiana

A Youngsville man was killed Wednesday morning when he failed to negotiate a curve on La. 82 in Vermilion Parish and crashed, State Police said.

Bryan Badon, 34, was driving east on La. 82 near Gallet Road in his Dodge Ram pickup truck when the accident occurred, State Police said in a release. He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck, police said.

The accident occurred at 4:22 a.m. and Badon died later at a hospital, police said.

Toxicology samples were sent to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for testing in a case that remains under investigation, the release stated.
