Prayer vigil to be held for shooting victims

All three teenage victims from this morning’s shooting in Lafayette were students at St. Thomas More Catholic High School.

While the Lafayette City Police have not confirmed the identities of any of the shooting victims, KATC is reporting that the teenager shot and killed early this morning in the 100 block of Green MeadowLafayette has been identified as 15 year old Austin Rivault.

Officials at St. Thomas More Catholic High School are holding a prayer vigil on campus at 5 this afternoon for Rivault and his two friends.

Lafayette City Police have arrested 18 year old Seth Fontenot of Lafayette and charged him with 2 counts of Attempted First Degree Murder and 1 count of First Degree Murder.
