Busted In Acadiana

A Pennsylvania man has been arrested for allegedly sending explicit messages to a local 13-year-old girl, authorities said.

Timothy L. Kelly, 39, 311 S. Fifth Street, Jeannette, Penn., was arrested Feb. 11 by Greensburg, Penn., police, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Kim Myers said.

Kelly, who is currently awaiting extradition, will be charged with online solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior of involving a minor, Myers said.

Judge Clayton Davis set his bond at $700,000, she said.

Myers said CPSO began investigating in January after receiving a report that the girl had received “numerous nude images and sexually explicit messages via Facebook and text messages from a man she met online.”

Judge Clayton Davis signed the arrest warrant and Greensburg police picked Kelly up, Myers said.
