Moss Bluff native accused of repeated sexual relations with 12-year-old family member
On February 6, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding Carl W. Lewis, 61, 14054 Highway 44, Lot # 18, Gonzales, formerly of Moss Bluff, having inappropriate sexual contact with a female family member on numerous occasions, beginning in 1995 when the girl was 12 years old. Lewis lived in Moss Bluff at the time of the incidents.
When questioned by detectives, Lewis confirmed some of the allegations. Lewis was arrested on February 21 and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 2 counts of aggravated incest.
Judge Wilford Carter set his bond at $35,000.
