Busted In Acadiana

According to The Town Talk, when Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives arrived at a Sieper residence to serve warrants on a man, they found him at a computer, looking at child pornography, according to a release.

Walter Skyler Benoit, 20, of 45 Cecil Price Road, was wanted on warrants for indecent behavior with a juvenile and sexual battery. “Upon entering Benoit’s residence, he was in the process of looking at child pornography on his computer,” reads a release from the office.

Benoit was arrested and charged with two counts of pornography involving juveniles and for the warrants – one count of indecent behavior with juveniles and two counts of sexual battery.

Benoit was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. All computers, hard drives and other electronic devices at the residence were seized as evidence. According to the release, the investigation is continuing, and more charges may be filed.
