Lafayette sub not indicted for allegedly taping student’s mouth
As we pointed out in October of last year in our story, “Flawed probable cause, crappy police work?“…
As anticipated, a Lafayette Grand Jury did not find enough evidence to indict a substitute teacher who’s accused of taping a student’s mouth shut according to KATC TV 3.
The teacher, Curley Bell Henry, was accused of taping the 9-year-old student’s mouth shut when she substituted at J. Wallace James Elementary last year.
Lafayette City Police Spokesman, Paul Mouton told The Advertiser back on October 2nd, the reason a warrant was issued is because, Henry failed to come in and cooperate with investigators. Now really? Not coperating with a police investigation gives you enough probable cause to issue a warrant for her arrest?
Congratulations Ms. or Mrs. Henry…
