A 19-year-old Lafayette woman is recovering from injuries allegedly sustained at the hands of George Asa Fox.
According to the teen who has two small children with Fox, she found out Mr. Fox was allegedly moonlighting in Downtown Lafayette after a friend sent a picture of him allegedly tongue wrestling with another girl.
The teen said she left home looking for Fox after trying to contact his phone multiple times. She says she was able to locate Mr. Fox at at Shop Rite located at the corner of Congress and Guilbeau Rd. and confronted him with the picture. That is when she says Fox got defensive and went crazy.
According to the teen:
” He tackled me in the parking lot and punch me in the back of the head, pulled me by my hair into to car, locked me in it and drove to our house while choking me and attempting to drive. Locked me in the car as we parked in the drive way. Walked around to the passenger side and attempted to pull me out of the car by hair through the window. I finally got awake and tried running down the street. He caaught up to me, tackled me, and continues punching me in the back of the head. I ran back to the house, locked my self In the bathroom, croutched down in the tub and called 911. He then kicks in the door and comes charging after me. He pulls me out of the bathtub and begins slamming my head into to side of the toilet. While the whole time saying “I hope you die” finally his sister boyfriend (who just so happened to be staying the night) comes in there and separates us. I run in to the kids room to stop them from screaming and finally the cops came and arrested him.”
The victim provided us the picture below showing blood all over the wall in their bathroom.
Fox was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and charged with domestic abuse battery and bonded out a short time later on a $2,500 bond.
