Busted In Acadiana

Avoyelles deputies are looking for inmate Veronica Ann Dubois, after she escaped from the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office DC #2 facility in Simmesport, La. around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Dubois is described as a white female, 25 years old, 5′ 1″, 120 lbs., with black hair, and brown eyes. Dubois has a cross tattooed on her upper back.

According to Corrections personnel, Dubois attended a church service within the prison prior to her being discovered missing. A routine count conducted shortly after the service confirmed her escape. Dubois was a Probation Violator serving time for previous drug possession convictions. She has family and friends in the Deville area of Rapides Parish and Grant Parish.
