Busted In Acadiana

Lafayette, LA – At approximately 6:10 pm, Lafayette Police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle in the 3300 block of West Congress Street. The vehicle, a white Honda, was traveling west when it entered the left turning lane.  The motorcycle was traveling east, when it entered the left turning lane, colliding with the Honda head on.  There were no injuries in the car.  The operator of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. The crash remains under investigation.

Lafayette Police will keep the westbound lane of West Congress Street at Marie Antionette shutdown for approximately an additional hour as they continue to investigate the crash.
