Arrest made in connection with shooting of three local teens
Lafayette Police say they have made an arrest for the shooting that injured two teens and killed another early this morning.
Cpl. Paul Mouton says 18 year old Seth Fontenot of Lafayette was booked and charged him with 2 counts of Attempted First Degree Murder and 1 count of First Degree Murder.
Investigators discovered that the shooting occurred in the 100 block of Green Meadow.
Fontenot encountered the victims outside of his residence when the shooting occurred. The circumstances behind the shooting have not been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
