According to the Eunice Police Department, officers were called to the 1000 block of West Ash Ave in reference to a disturbance in progress.
Upon arrival officers spoke to the 30 year old male victim who was bleeding from a cut near his left eye.
The victim stated that his girlfriend Tammie Murphy came home from a bar and was throwing items around in the house.
They then argued and she broke a window on the house then atacked him. The victim along with a with a witness stated that Tammie struck the victim multiple times with her fists until he began to bleed then she ran away from the residence. Officers were unsuccessful in locating Tammie in the neighborhood.
At 2:05am the victim called police and stated that she returned and was causing another disturbance. She fled from officers when they arrived but she was discovered hiding underneath a house.
Officers then convinced her to come out and she was placed under arrest for domestic abuse battery.
