Busted In Acadiana

Lafayette, LA – On January 18, 2013, at approximately 3:50 pm, Lafayette Police responded to the 100 block of Arnould Blvd regarding a robbery. According to the victims, the suspect entered the business wearing a hoodie with his face covered and demanded money. An undisclosed amount of cash was given to the suspect and the suspect then fled the area. The suspect never displayed a weapon, but one of his hands’s remained in his pocket during the robbery.

Lafayette Police were able to identify the suspect as Lonnie Eric Poydras (32) of Lafayette. An arrest for First Degree Robbery has been issued for Poydras’s arrest.
