According to Vernon Parish Sheriff Sam Craft, Alexandra “Cornbread” Hill was convicted of attempted forcible rape in September 2002 and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Craft was released in September 2012 and returned to Vernon Parish to reside.
Craft said in accordance with Louisiana law, Hill is required to register with the Sheriff’s Office in the parish in which he resides and provide them with his address.
Craft said Hill registered when he was first released but has since changed his address.
According to Craft, Hill has 72 hours from the time his address changes to notify the Sheriff’s Office in order to stay in compliance with the law.
Hill was last seen around Jan. 2 when deputies responded to Hill’s residence on Jeane Chapel Road regarding a domestic dispute.
Craft said it was at this time, the Sheriff’s Office learned that Hill was no longer going to be residing at the address on Jean Chapel Road.
Numerous attempts have been made to locate Hill, but authorities have been unsuccessful, Craft said.
Anyone with information regarding Hill’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 238-1311 or 1-800-256-1534.
