Busted In Acadiana

A Lafayette man wanted on child porn charges turned himself into police on Monday.

Last Friday police began asking for the public’s assistance locating 20-year-old Deneres Handy after a brief investigation into him having sex with a female under the age 15.

Police say the incident occured on December 29th, 2012 and was filmed with a cell phone.

It is unclear how Handy was getting his groove on and filming at the same time.

Handy was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and charge with a single count of Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile and child pornography.

He is being held on $20,000 bond.
