Busted In Acadiana

The Eunice Police Department and the Eunice City Marshal’s Office responded to Eunice Rental at the intersection of West Laurel Ave and Shell Street in reference to a theft. Upon arrival officers spoke to an employee who stated that he went to the rear of the shop since no customers were present then returned to the front and discovered the cash register missing. Officers reviewed the surveillance video and two still shots were obtained. If anyone can identify this individual or vehicle please contact the Eunice Police Department at 337-457-2626. The suspect is described as a black male approx 6 feet tall. He exited the business with the cash register then went West on Hwy 190 when he fled the scene. The amount of cash contained in the register has yet to be determined.
