Man accused of trapping ex in the bathroom by drilling screws into the door frame
A Lafayette Parish man is accused of trapping his ex-girlfriend in his bathroom by drilling screws into the door frame, authorities said Tuesday.
Brindle A. Donaldson, 34, 600 block of Credeur Road, was booked on one count of false imprisonment, according to a Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office news release.
Deputies also found what appeared to be evidence of methamphetamine production, and a narcotics investigation is ongoing, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office reported Donaldson also was booked on active bench warrants for failure to appear in court for possession of drug paraphernalia, no seat belt, driving under suspension and switched license plate.
