Busted In Acadiana

The Eunice Police Department conducted an investigation of illegal drug activity involving Jessica Huval after receiving a complaint. During the investigation undercover agents met with Huval and orders were placed for several types of narcotics including methamphetamines, cocaine, and prescription medications. After the orders were placed with Huval she’d make phone calls to supply sources. The suppliers would then drop of the narcotics to her and she personally provided the narcotics to the undercover agent. The undercover agent would then pay Huval and she’d deliver the money to the supply source in order to complete the deal. One of the drug transaction took place 450 feet from Eunice Elementary School campus and another took place 420 feet from St Edmund’s School campus.(Drug Free Zones) Audio and video surveillance techniques were used to record all transactions and phone calls between undercover agents and Huval. Law enforcement officers in unmarked vehicles also conducted surveillance on Huval while she performed these transactions.

Huval bonded out after 27th Judicial District Judge Ellis Daigle set her bond at $36,000.
