Drunk thug arrested, 2-year-old in critical condition
A two-year-old child is in critical condition after a crash yesterday involving a drunk thug.
According to police 23-year-old James Broussard of Lafayette was drunk as a skunk when he turned left at the intersection of Van Buren Drive and Moss Street and collided with another vehicle.
The driver, a 33-year-old man and his 2-year-old passenger are in critical condition as a result of Broussard’s drunkardness .
Broussard was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and charged with OWI, driving under suspension, failure to yield while turning left and 2 counts of vehicular negligent injury.
He is being held on the 5th floor without bond according to booking records.
