Desperado’s owner pleads not guilty in federal court
According to The Advertiser, James Panos, owner of Desperado’s cabaret, a strip club in Carenco, entered a plea of not guilty in federal court this morning.
He faces one count of allowing drug activity on the premises of the club.
Federal agents arrested Panos and several employees during a December raid. Panos is the only one facing federal charges.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Patrick Hanna allowed Panos to remain free until his trial because the club’s state liquor license has been suspended.
