Busted In Acadiana

According to reports, District Attorney Mike Harson’s former officer administrator and secretary Barna Haynes pleaded guilty to federal charges related to the FBI investigation involving Harson’s office’s handling of OWIs and other types of cases. She was suppose to plead guilty last week in court according to reports but for unknown reasons didn’t.

U.S. Attorney Stephanie A. Finley issued a release at 10:34 a.m. Monday announcing an 11 a.m. press conference about the guilty plea.

Barna Haynes is also the wife of Lafayette City Prosecutor Gary Haynes who told us back in October via email, ““I know of no one who received such a letter.”

Since Mrs. Haynes pleaded guilty, we assue she is coperating with Federal investigators in bringing down the criminal enterprise in the deep south that has been operating for entirely to long.
