Two black males rob convenience store at gunpoint in The Berry
Sheriff Louis Ackal advises on December 16, 2012 at approximately 7:46 deputies with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery at 204 Center Street, New Iberia. Deputies learned that two black males, one armed with a handgun, entered the Pop & Fuel gas station and demanded money from the store’s clerk. The suspects are described as two black males, one wearing sunglasses and dressed in black clothing. The other suspect was wearing black clothing and had a white t-shirt covering his face concealing his identity. The suspects were able to steal an undisclosed amount of money. Detectives are asking if anyone has information on the robbery they should contact the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-369-3711.
