Busted In Acadiana

A 32-year-old Vivian man was arrested for abusing his 84-year-old grandmother, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Waylon “Frank” Sims, Jr. is accused of pushing and grabbing his grandmother during an altercation on October 24. Elderly Protective Services contacted the Caddo Sheriff’s Office, and Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Donnie Laney obtained a warrant for Sims’ arrest.

Sims turned himself in at Caddo Correctional Center last night and was booked for domestic abuse battery. His bond has been set at $150,000.
