Busted In Acadiana

Krystal Meranta of  Bayou Vista woman is accused of beating another woman in the head with a high heel shoe at an Amelia strip club.

St. Mary Parish deputiries to respinded to a complaint of a battery at Temptation’s lounge in Amelia late Wednesday night.

When deputires arrived they learn that twenty-six year old Krystal Meranta and the female victim had been arguing that evening.

Investigators observed surveillance video of Meranta striking the victim in the head with the heel end of a high heel shoe.

The victim was treated and released by Acadian Ambulance.

Meranta was booking into the St. Mary Parish jail and no bond has been set yet.
