Busted In Acadiana

According to reports by KATC, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office says “part” of a gun was found on the campus of Lawtell Elementary on Thursday. According to deputies, the gun was not operable at all; it didn’t have a slide, clip, or a magazine on it. The juvenile suspected of bringing the weapon on campus is being recommended for expulsion. The campus was put on lockdown for a short time when it was found.
