Busted In Acadiana

According to booking records, Louisiana State Police arrested a 70-year-old Opelousas man on child pornography charges. 

Gary Jefferson Byrd has been booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail.

According to reports, the Louisiana State Police assisted Federal Agents with a search warrant and found enough evidence to charge Byrd with possession of child pornography.

Officials say they cannot release any other information because an investigation is still ongoing.
