High ranking police official jailed on domestic abuse
According to The Advocate, a Baton Rouge police officer was arrested in Livingston Parish Wednesday and accused of domestic abuse battery, improper telephone communications and harassment, according to Livingston Parish prison records.
Maj. Ernest Brewer of 262 W. State St., has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation, said Baton Rouge police spokesman Cpl. Tommy Stubbs said.
No other information was available.
